The Point Cabrillo Lighthouse beam reaches ships 15 miles out to sea, while fishing boats angle for salmon, Dungeness Crab and divers search for abalone.

If you’re an adrenaline junkie, and it’s action you choose, the twisting single-track bike trails of Jackson State Forest with names like Widow Maker, Gunslinger and Thru Tree may be your muse.
