Department Hours
Lobby Office Hours and Fingerprinting:
The Fort Bragg Police Department is open from 09:00am to 5:00pm, Monday thru Friday, excluding legal holidays. The front lobby is closed on the second and fourth Fridays of the month for an In Service Day. Livescan/Fingerprinting hours are Monday/Wednesday from 1:30pm to 3:30pm and Tuesday/Thursday from 9:00am to 11:00am (excluding holidays). Prints are done on a first come, first served basis. Please have your Request for Livescan form filled out ahead of time. We will need to see your photo identification. We accept cash, check or money order. (No debit or credit cards)
Property & Evidence
For recovery of personal property being held at the Fort Bragg Police Department, please call Property and Evidence Technician Laura Godinez, at 707-961-2800, ext. 101. Be advised there may be some restrictions and procedures that must be followed before property can be legally released. Property releases are by appointment only.

The Mendocino County Citizen Alert System.
It's free to sign up, and will alert you to emergencies such as severe weather, tsunamis, unexpected road closures, missing persons, and necessary evacuations. This system will allow you to choose where and how you receive time-sensitive messages. This could include at your home, mobile phone, business, email address, and more....
In order to sign up simply go to the Mendocino Sheriff's website and click on "Sign up to our Emergency Alert System" located in the middle of the main page.
We highly encourage everyone to sign up.
