Teresa Rodriguez was appointed to the Planning Commission by Councilmember Dan Gjerde in 2015 and re-appointed by Mike Cimolino in 2015.
Teresa was born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico and moved to Fort Bragg in 1990. She attended College of the Redwoods and graduated with a Child Development Certificate and an Associate’s Degree in University Studies. She went on to graduate from Sonoma State University in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies.
Teresa has worked for the Fort Bragg Unified School District, Safe Passage Family Resource Center, Head Start, Tutors of America and the WIC program. Because she cares about our community, she also participates as a volunteer for Project Sanctuary, Mendocino Coast Clinics and the Family Advocacy. Her husband Fermin Toscano owns and operates Toscano's Auto Repair in Fort Bragg. They have one son, Faustino, and three daughters, Vivian, Jazmin, and Giselle.
