Hare Creek Center - 1250 Del Mar Drive, Fort Bragg
The Hare Creek Center is a proposed new shopping center anchored by Grocery Outlet and consisting of three buildings, including: Building A at 15,000 square feet, Building B at 10,000 square feet and Building C at 4,500 square feet, for a total of 29,500 square feet of retail space. Associated development includes an access road, a parking lot, loading zones, pedestrian improvements, rain water storage tanks, utility connections, drainage improvements, utilities, signage and landscaping.

Project EIRThe Hare Creek EIR Scoping public comment period has been extended through October 19th as this date was included in the scoping session flyer.
The City of Fort Bragg will host an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) scoping workshop on the Hare Creek Center on September 19 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Fort Bragg Town Hall. The proposed Hare Creek Center project would consist of three buildings (totaling 29,500 square feet) located on Highway 1, near the intersection with Highway 20. Please come to this workshop to learn about the EIR and permitting process; identify potential environmental impacts that should be studied in the EIR; and discuss project alternatives to be reviewed in the EIR.
The City’s consultant will complete an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the project before bringing the project to the Planning Commission and City Council for consideration. The EIR consultant selection process, consultant scope of work, EIR purpose and contents, and the community participation process in the scoping for and review of the Draft EIR are all described in the staff report and related attachments below.
