California Grey Whale Migration
From mid December into April, 20,000 whales pass by heading south to Baja, and then return to the Arctic Sea.

Harbor Seal Pupping
The harbor seals raise their pups in April and May at MacKerricher, State Park. An observation deck overlooking the rookery is available for use.
The Rhododendrons are native to the area, and bloom in April and May. Memorial Day weekend features the annual rhododendron show.
World's Largest Salmon BBQ
The Salmon BBQ takes place on the first Saturday in July, which this year is July 2nd.
Paul Bunyan Days
Event takes place over Labor Day weekend. The event lasts three days, and celebrates the areas logging heritage.
This charity wine auction raises money for the Mendocino Coast District Hospital. The event takes place at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens.
Lighted Truck Parade
