Provide quality services to the City Manager, City Departments, employees and applicants in the areas of employee relations, employee benefits, recruitment, retention, testing, classification, and compensation.

Priorities of the Human Resources Office

As an employer, the City of Fort Bragg mantains a workforce of approximately 55 employees. This division is responsible for recruitment and testing of applicants for City positions; processing and orientating new employees; updating and maintaining job descriptions; conducting classification and compensation studies; administering benefit programs including health insurance, deferred compensation and retirement; providing training opportunities; and ensuring compliance with Personnel Rules and Regulations and State and Federal mandates.
